KASONGO
Your personal data.
Updated: 18 October 2026
Who is responsible for your data?
Bienvenue L. Kasongo is the data controller for the KASONGO SAS project, which is currently being incorporated in France.
For questions or to exercise your rights, contact contact@kasongo.eu.
What information is collected?
You provide your information directly to us. Launch registration requires your email, country and consent. A detailed form may also collect your name, company, business activity, city, optional phone number, brand of interest, enquiry type, format, volume and message. The language, date, enquiry reference and your choice in the form are recorded.
Required fields are indicated in the form. Without them, we cannot register your subscription or process your enquiry. Please do not include sensitive data in the message field.
Why do we use this data?
- Launch information
- Updates about your chosen brand are based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Quotation requests
- The information needed to prepare a quotation is used at your request to take pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). A professional enquiry does not subscribe you to launch updates.
- Other professional enquiries
- Responding to other enquiries addressed directly to KASONGO and keeping limited records are based on our legitimate interest in handling these exchanges (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These contact details are not added to an advertising list without your agreement.
- Operation and security
- The basket selection, language preference and protection of private access support the operation and security of the site. They are based on our legitimate interest in providing a functional, protected service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providers may process technical data, including IP addresses and connection dates, for this purpose.
Purchases are not currently available. These forms do not collect payment card numbers. KASONGO does not make automated decisions with legal effects or carry out advertising profiling.
Who may receive this information?
Enquiries, follow-up notes and prepared messages are restricted to the person authorised to manage KASONGO. Contact details are not sold or published and are not shared with other brands for their marketing.
- Hosting and database: the ChatGPT Sites platform (OpenAI), using Cloudflare infrastructure, provides hosting, storage and the technical functions of the site. OpenAI privacy policy · Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Email sending: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) is the planned provider for acknowledgements and notifications. Only the recipient address and details needed for the message are shared with it if sending is enabled. The site sends no data to this service until it is connected. Resend privacy policy.
These providers have international infrastructure that may involve processing outside the European Union, including in the United States. Their data protection documents describe the transfer mechanisms they provide, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses where applicable. You can ask us for details of the safeguards applying to your data.
How long do we keep data?
Enquiry and registration records are kept for no more than three years after the last contact received from you, unless consent is withdrawn or a valid erasure request is made sooner. If there are no further exchanges, the period begins with your initial enquiry. An internal note, status change or message sent by KASONGO does not extend this period. Associated prepared messages and internal records are deleted with the enquiry.
Expired records are deleted when enquiry management or forms are used, before any further use. These periods apply to the site’s active database; providers describe their technical log and backup cycles in their privacy information. Copies exported for follow-up must respect the same periods.
Which cookies do we use?
The kasongo_cart cookie stores your selection identifier for 30 days. The kasongo_language cookie remembers your language for one year. You can delete them in your browser. Private management access also uses platform authentication. KASONGO does not add advertising cookies or audience tracking tools to this site.
The hosting platform measures overall website traffic (unique visitors, page views), without advertising cookies.
Signing up for launch updates requires double opt-in: once email sending is enabled, a link lets you confirm your address. Until you confirm, your address remains pending and is not added to the confirmed subscribers list. The link is valid for 48 hours from the first sending attempt.
How can you exercise your rights?
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and withdraw your consent to launch updates.
Write to contact@kasongo.eu stating your request and, if possible, its reference. Proportionate verification of your identity may be necessary. We normally respond within one month; any extension permitted by the GDPR will be explained within that period.
Your right to complain to the CNIL
You can lodge a complaint with France’s data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), particularly if you believe your rights have not been respected. cnil.fr · Lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
